Better than Rice Cereal

While everyone else made a BIG DEAL about Lucy eating rice cereal and bananas----Henry helped himself to a much tastier breakfast!!!

Since Lucy is 6 months old-----I guess we should feed her something other than milk!! What's for breakfast???

She HATED the cereal so I decided to add in some bananas----

she wasn't excited about that either!!!
After I got her out of the high chair and calmed down we tried the bananas again----she thought they might be okay. We will try them again!

6 Month Check-Up

Lucy turned 6 months old on September 4th!!

She had her 6 month check up on Tuesday.

Here are her stats:

15lbs 12oz

26 inches long

She loved talking to the nurses and doctor but DID NOT like the shots AT ALL!

It was so sad---she passed out in the car as soon as we left.

Cruisin' In the Jeep

While we were in Camden Brian let us borrow his jeep to play for a while!!

It is so much fun!!!

We strapped Henry's car seat in the jeep to go for a spin on Monday afternoon.

I know that prob isn't TOO safe but we didn't go far!!! He LOVES it!

The constant rain is putting a damper in our jeep fun!

Lake Stop

On the way home from Hope on Sunday we made a few stops. First we went by Camden to visit with Nana, Granddaddy, Brian, and Grandmother. Then we decided we couldn't make it all the way home so we went to Hot Springs for the night.

Oh----Lucy stayed in Hope to play with Lila and Jim for the week!!

We had a good afternoon/night on the lake before we had to go home to the real world!

Florida Vacation!

Last week we went on VACATION!!!

We loaded up about 4AM Thursday morning---Jim, Lila, Courtney, Mark, Ellie, Hunt, Russ, Heather, Henry and Lucy----in 2 cars with 2 turtles on top and a basket on the back of one car with the ice chest and jogging strollers and arrived at the Back Porch about 1 o'clock for lunch. The first 2 nights we stayed in a condo in Sandestin.

Friday we had great weather at the beach and pool.

Then Saturday morning came Fay. We were moving to our house in Sea Crest Beach on Saturday so we didn't miss much since it drizzled ALL DAY.

Ripley's Believe it or Not!!!

Russ and Mark took Henry and Ellie into Panama City to a kids museum......which bored them quickly. So they searched for something else to do indoors and they found Ripley's!

They said it was LOTS OF FUN! HA!

By Monday afternoon Fay moved on

and we had some GREAT beach and pool days!

Our Beach Trip 2008 was so much fun!!! We can't wait until next year!!!
