Getting Ready for Christmas!

We were VERY busy getting ready for Christmas!

Lots and lots of FUN Christmas activities!

At the beginning of December our Elf Jack showed up!

He watched over us and reported back to Santa Claus each night.....

he pulled some pretty funny stunts while he was here!

Hunt and Lucy went to look at the train display at the Botanical Gardens.

This sweet guy went too....but he slept through the trains!

We made Christmas cookies.....

and decorated them!! We had cookies and hot chocolate with Santa in our neighborhood! Tried to take too many pictures of all 3:)

AND THEN....there was the mall visit with Santa Claus.....

it didn't go too well!! Lucy was okay with the Santa in our neighborhood

but NOT OK on this afternoon;)

It was pretty humerous! Henry was trying to just smile and be nice....and Eli was a happy baby

but Lucy didn't care if she got ANYTHING for Christmas!

Anything she needed she would just ask for her birthday!! ha!

Flakes, School Programs, and Parties!

Henry's Cute Kindergarten Class

The Vandergriff Kindergarten Classes performed the musical Flakes!

Each class was dressed differently...Henry's class were snowflakes. They had to wear all white.

We didn't know what to put on the boys??? So we went with baseball pants and a white t-shirt!

The boys weren't too sure about wearing those snowflake headbands!! ha!

Henry had a speaking part!

"Some of us are big and some are small

but when we stick together we make a SNOWBALL!"

They each brought a wrapped book....whenever she said a certain word in the book they all passed the books to the right. When the book was over they got to open the book they were left with.

Then we made Gingerbread Houses!
