Weekend Fun

Last weekend was a great weekend at HOME!! We have been on the go since Memorial Day weekend so it was nice to be home with nothing to do for a change!

Russ had to work:( but he got to play some after he got off!

Saturday morning I worked in the flower beds and Henry and Lucy played in the water all morning. They had fun with each other!

Lucy has been sporting some CUTE pigtails lately........and Henry has been REALLY proud of his HUGE arm TATT that we got for 50 cents at La Huerta!!! I LOVE them both!!!

4th of July

We spent 4th of July in Hot Springs at the lake......we had so much FUN....BUT we forgot our camera so these pics are pitiful!!! We spent a lot of time on the boat---Henry could tube for hours! Lucy also got to tube with me on there with them! She loved it too! We ate a lot of good food and had a couple firework shows! We stoped at a firework stand on the way down and bought lots of fun things! Henry loved it!

Friday night we went to Oaklawn to their 4th of July celebration. They had several inflatable jump houses and slides, music, and a great firework show.

Los Angeles Trip

A few weeks ago, Mom, Courtney, and I took a girls trip out to LA to visit Collin and Becka.

They live in Hermosa Beach which is the neatest little beach town right outside of LA. They are about 2 blocks off the beach and have the cutest little duplex.

Becka was out of town for work during the first part of our trip and then joined us for the last part of the weekend.

We laid on the beach, shopped, went to the Farmers Market at the Grove, ate lots of good food, and went sight seeing.

We had a GREAT time and are very jealous of them living in such a fun place----the weather is just amazing!!

We stopped and got a map that showed you how to get to all of the STARS homes!

Some you could see more than others......we saw Michael Jackson's (the week before he died!!), Tim McGraw and Faith Hills, Jennifer Annistons, Courtney Cox and David Arquettes, Shirley Temples, Babyface, and several others!

The Bottle Inn in Hermosa Beach---a great Italian Restaurant.

Collin and Becka live on a walk street---no cars allowed just people walking their dogs through and kids playing all up and down the street. Right outside their house they have planters that didn't have plants in it so we fixed one of the planters up for them as a house warming present!

All their neighbors loved it!

We went into LA on Saturday and ate lunch at The Ivy, shopped at Kitson and all up and down Roberson Ave, went to Hollywood and saw the stars on the sidewalk, and then had drinks and dinner at Nobu.

Mark's brother Cary lives in LA and he met us for dinner at Nobu.

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!!!
