Last week we went on VACATION!!!
We loaded up about 4AM Thursday morning---Jim, Lila, Courtney, Mark, Ellie, Hunt, Russ, Heather, Henry and Lucy----in 2 cars with 2 turtles on top and a basket on the back of one car with the ice chest and jogging strollers and arrived at the Back Porch about 1 o'clock for lunch. The first 2 nights we stayed in a condo in Sandestin.
Friday we had great weather at the beach and pool.
Then Saturday morning came Fay. We were moving to our house in Sea Crest Beach on Saturday so we didn't miss much since it drizzled ALL DAY.

Ripley's Believe it or Not!!!
Russ and Mark took Henry and Ellie into Panama City to a kids museum......which bored them quickly. So they searched for something else to do indoors and they found Ripley's!
They said it was LOTS OF FUN! HA!

By Monday afternoon Fay moved on
and we had some GREAT beach and pool days!

He is a little OCD so he worked hard to pick up EVERY seashell out there!!!

Our Beach Trip 2008 was so much fun!!! We can't wait until next year!!!

Best vacation ever!!! Loved having Henry and Ellie share a room with us. And to top it all off Lucy got to stay with us for a few days after vacation. Can't wait til next year!!! Love, Lila
What a GREAT trip!!! And you got to go to all those yummy restaurants!! Back Porch is just the best! What fun...does Lucy go anywhere without her daisy? Too cute! I know yall had fun...thanks for sharing!!!

I am glad your vacation was as good as ours. I wish we could have seen each other while we were all down there together.
I am impressed! I can't believe Ellie and Henry slept considering how close they were to each other. That is great! I love all of the pictures. It looks like ya'll had a blast.
