We took a long weekend in January and headed up to Kansas City for the weekend.
We drove up to Snow Creek to ski on Friday. We had never been and thought it would be a good place to start Henry and Lucy out skiing.
It was bigger than we thought it was going to be.
Henry and Lucy took private lessons for 2 hours. Russ and I skied around while they were in lessons. Henry did GREAT! After his lesson, we practiced on the bunny slope a little while longer then he was ready to go up the lift!!
I took him up the lift and then he left me.....he was flying down the hill....I was yelling PIZZA HENRY PIZZA (wedge)!!! When I caught him I asked him why he didn't use his pizza and he said "Mom...I'm not gonna pizza all the way down the mountain!"
Lucy did great with her lesson too. She was worn out after the 2 hours so we took turns hanging out with Lucy and skiing with Henry.

Kayce and Todd always enjoyed going there. I think that we need to start off there too!!! Love the pictures and it looks like you guys had fun! Perhaps with all the snow this year you should invest in some skis for home!
