Russ's wedding ring was missing for over a month.
We had actually ALMOST gone and bought another one.
One Sunday afternoon, Henry and Russ went bowling and then played basketball
outside in the driveway. That night Russ realized his ring was gone.
He is left handed so he assumed it slung off while he was bowling. He went to the bowling
alley twice looking for it.
A month passed by---one afternoon we were working in the yard and Lucy and Henry
were waiting on the ice cream man. Lucy had some quarters in her hand.
She dropped one of the quarters and when she bent down in the grass to pick it up
she found Russ's wedding ring!!! It must have slung off while he was playing basketball
that afternoon. It had been mowed over several times but was in perfect condition!!!!

So glad Russ found his ring! I lost a nice pair of earrings Corey bought me a couple of years ago. I had not seen them since January. We talked for a while about where I was when I wore them last, etc. Then it just became a subject we didn't talk about. I think it made Corey sick to his stomach. So we were in Florida headed to the Back Porch. Mom and I were in the back seat. I was digging through my camera bag trying to find lens cleaner and I found my earrings! They were in a plastic baggie. (I now remember putting them there in that really good spot so I wouldn't lose them. Ha!) Little did I know they had been with me almost everywhere I went! I yelled, "I found my earrings!" I still remember Corey's face in the review mirror looking at me. Sometimes I think he thinks I am a lunatic! I guess that also tells you how often I use lens cleaner! Ha!
