What A Week!!!

What an ICE STORM!!!
It was quite an adventure.
We lost power about 2 pm on Tuesday.....and it came back on about 5 on Friday.

It was very destructive to LOTS of the beautiful trees of NWA.
These are the trees in my backyard.
I haven't seen it but I heard that many of the trees on Old Main lawn are destroyed.

One cold little piggie

Courtney, Mark, Ellie, and Hunt came and spent the night on Tuesday night.
They had lost power about 11 on Tuesday so our house was a little warmer!
We had a fun bunkin' party Tuesday night---but by Wednesday night we were tired, cold, and wanting a warm shower!
These pics are all in the DARK--we just had a fire and a few candles--but you can't tell due to the flash.

I thought this picture was funny b/c it looks like Lucy and Hunt know what they are doing with the Leapster and remote!

Henry and Ellie having fun!

Bunkin' Party
Wednesday afternoon we headed out to play
The tube no longer holds air!
Me and Lucy watching the tubing
Wednesday night we had roughed it long enough and we checked into the Clarion.
It was SO nice to have heat and a shower!
Everyone slept good.
Lucy loved playing with herself in the mirror in the hotel room!
After we left the hotel I didn't do very good taking pics......
Thursday afternoon since we STILL didn't have power Courtney and I loaded up all 4 kids and headed to Hot Springs. Russ and Mark had to stay to work.....although Wal-Mart Supercenter was actually closed from Tuesday afternoon until Friday morning.
We were so happy to be in Hot Springs---the weather was nice and sunny and we had electricity! Then things went downhill again!
About 2am Friday morning Henry sat up in bed and threw up all over me and the bed.
He was so sick. I stayed on the couch with him and he countinued to get sick 8 more times!
He was so pitiful. Courtney, Ellie, and Hunt moved down to the Jordan's house (b/c no one was down there) to try to contain the bug. By Friday afternoon, Henry was a little better but still couldn't eat or drink much. Saturday morning I nervously drove us back to Fayetteville with Henry holding a barf bag--ugh! I hate that word!
Everyone else headed to Little Rock to celebrate Ellie's 4th birthday at US Pizza.
Her birthday party was supposed to be Saturday but had to be cancelled due to the weather and the gymnastics place not having power:(
This morning about 4 Lucy came down with the bug. She has handled it better than I could imagine. She is pitiful when she is sick but in the next minute laughing and smiling!
Henry still isn't 100% today---he actually fell asleep watching TV tonight about 6.
Apparently everyone was exposed before we separated them because Mom started getting sick last night and Ellie started getting sick this morning.
Who is next???
What a crazy last week of January?!?
I am ready for SPRING!
