Hope Watermelon Festival 2010

I ran the Watermelon Festival 5K and then we went over to the 1 MILE fun run for Henry and Lucy! I ran along with Henry and he did really good. Mom ran with Lucy!

I had not been to the Watermelon Festival in a few years and I was really impressed this year!!

Lots of fun stuff for the kids and I even bought a few things...and then the concert!

We will be there next year for sure!!!

Musical Beds!

Speaking of musical beds---this was MY BED at 4 AM one morning last week when I got up to go to work!! Talk about not wanting to get out of bed to go to work!!

Henry and Lucy started out the night on the bottom bunk of Henry's bed....where they had slept the last couple nights successfully---then I remember Henry coming to my bed and then Russ realizing that Lucy was in there too hours later---she was curled up at the bottom of the bed!

Then Russ huffs and puffs b/c he doesn't have any room and he moved on to Henry's bed! ha!ha!

I went to check on Henry one night after he had gone to bed and this is what I found!

He has a cute bunk bed in his bed...but for some reason always wants to sleep in the guest bedroom (Lila's bed is what he calls it!)!?!?!

And then some nights this is what is in Lila's bed!

It is always musical beds around here!!!

Fayetteville Farmer's Market

A few Saturdays ago Russ had to work so Henry, Lucy, and I went down to the square to the Farmer's Market. It is always so fun to buy some produce, get your face painted, and people and dog watch!

After the Farmer's Market we ran into Cheap Thrills--just for the fun of it because we had parked right by it. Henry and Lucy talked me in to buying this wig!! Lucy insisted on PINK...Henry took this picture of me in it!! ha! Next time I get my hair done I might just go pink!

One night Courtney, Mark, Ellie, and Hunt came over for supper after swimming all day!

First Day of School

First Day of School

Henry is going to Kindergarden at First School this year.

He is going Monday - Friday but just until noon.

Since his birthday is in August, he will do Kindergarden next year in public school.

Lucy is also going to First School this year she is just going MWF until noon.

I was trying to get Lucy to let me get a good pic of her in the cute skirt Lila made her---
but she didn't want to cooperate!! So I got her from the back! ha
