Weekend in Hot Springs and Little Rock

Last weekend Henry, Lucy, and I met Mom in Little Rock for the day to shop---then went to Hot Springs for the weekend. The weather was PERFECT----nice and hot and sunny! We got some good boat time in! Saturday afternoon we went to Disney on Ice at Alltel.

It was a really fun weekend!

We went to CUPCAKES in the Heights for a little treat!

Bailey and Lindsey met us at El Porton for lunch before Disney on Ice on Saturday.

Lindsey is having Bailey's little sister in one week--on May 11th!!!

Lucy and Hunt

Hunt came over to play last Wednesday while Courtney took Ellie and Henry to Tiny Tims.

They played so good together---they were pretty funny!!

Lucy would watch Hunt and do everything he did.

M&M Man

Mr. John (aka M&M man) and Miss Kathy always bring M&M's to the kids when we are in Hope. They always look forward to their visits! Now that Lucy is 1 she can get M&M's too!

She LOVED them.......I think she will always be looking for the Akin's in Hope!!

Weekend: Birthday Parties and Razorfest!

This weekend Henry had 2 birthday parties---Amelia's Rockstar Party on Saturday and Parker's Party at FAC on Sunday.

I got some really cute pics from Amelia's party---but forgot my camera to Parker's:(

The Rockstar Party was really FUN! They had a stage set up for them to sing and play instruments, tatoos, cute cupcakes, and they also ran and played outside.

On the drums is Chas Lucke--he is in 8th grade and is in a band so he and his friend played the real drums and guitar so the kids could sing and dance!! It was really funny!

This is Mary--Henry's old babysitter. Henry stayed with Mary on the days I worked until he turned 2. Sonny is Mary's husband Guy.

They were so funny---even sang "I've Got You Babe" on stage!

RAZORFEST

Henry and Russ went to the game at Razorfest Saturday afternoon.

The weather wasn't the best on Saturday afternoon so Lucy and I didn't go but

she dressed the party anyway!

Henry was acting silly---and Lucy was laughing at him!

EASTER 2009

Hunting Easter Eggs

On Saturday, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at our church in Hope.

They had games, prizes, cookies, story time, and an egg hunt.

It was lots of fun.

Henry was good at this game because Friday night Nana and Granddaddy gave him an Easter Game where you carry the egg in the spoon and when you drop the egg a yolk falls out!We also practiced hunting eggs in Jim and Lila's yard. And on Saturday night the Easter Bunny hid LOTS of eggs with candy and money in them. I guess the Easter Bunny should have checked the weather forecast because it poured rain ALL day Sunday. That didn't stop us we just had to hunt eggs with umbrellas!

Surprisingly Lucy LOVED him! Henry thought it was a little strange but went along with it!
