Lucy had a gymnastics birthday party at Durham's Gymnastics.

All the kids had a great time running around, jumping on the trampolines, walking on balance beams, and jumping in the foam pits!

On New Years 2011 we were going to GIVE UP the paci.

Obviously....that didn't happen but we did do a little better about ONLY having it during naps and bedtime. Better.....but Lucy started saying she was wanting to "rest" all the time...just to get her paci "fix"! So we talked about it for a month before her 3rd birthday.....she knew and seemed to accept that when she turned 3 that there would be no more paci.

And that is what happened.....they are high up in the cabinets where I hid them because I was too scared to throw them away. It was kind of sad (for me) but on her birthday she said good bye and moved on. She hasn't mentioned it since!

March 3, 2011....the LAST DAY with her paci! I let her enjoy it ALL DAY that day:)
