Weekend: Birthday Parties and Razorfest!

This weekend Henry had 2 birthday parties---Amelia's Rockstar Party on Saturday and Parker's Party at FAC on Sunday.

I got some really cute pics from Amelia's party---but forgot my camera to Parker's:(

The Rockstar Party was really FUN! They had a stage set up for them to sing and play instruments, tatoos, cute cupcakes, and they also ran and played outside.

On the drums is Chas Lucke--he is in 8th grade and is in a band so he and his friend played the real drums and guitar so the kids could sing and dance!! It was really funny!

This is Mary--Henry's old babysitter. Henry stayed with Mary on the days I worked until he turned 2. Sonny is Mary's husband Guy.

They were so funny---even sang "I've Got You Babe" on stage!

RAZORFEST

Henry and Russ went to the game at Razorfest Saturday afternoon.

The weather wasn't the best on Saturday afternoon so Lucy and I didn't go but

she dressed the party anyway!

Henry was acting silly---and Lucy was laughing at him!

EASTER 2009

Hunting Easter Eggs

On Saturday, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at our church in Hope.

They had games, prizes, cookies, story time, and an egg hunt.

It was lots of fun.

Henry was good at this game because Friday night Nana and Granddaddy gave him an Easter Game where you carry the egg in the spoon and when you drop the egg a yolk falls out!We also practiced hunting eggs in Jim and Lila's yard. And on Saturday night the Easter Bunny hid LOTS of eggs with candy and money in them. I guess the Easter Bunny should have checked the weather forecast because it poured rain ALL day Sunday. That didn't stop us we just had to hunt eggs with umbrellas!

Lila and I took Henry and Lucy to the mall to see the Easter Bunny.

Surprisingly Lucy LOVED him! Henry thought it was a little strange but went along with it!

Church Night

Every Wednesday night we go to Tiny Tims at church. Henry LOVES it!

All the kids sing songs together in the courtyard and then go to their class for crafts and a lesson.

Last Wednesday, Amelia got to come home with us from school to play before I took them to church. They had so much fun!

The last snow of the season----HOPEFULLY!

These were on Saturday afternoon when Russ was working the weekend. We went with Natalie, Emmie, and Lyla to eat at La Hacienda---we went early so we didn't disturb everyone else!

After we ate the kids had a great time running around in the falling snow!
